haha, it's me again.. :P

Acts 2:42-47 - The early church and what they did. ' They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.'

- we did the spiritual assessment on fellowhip on friday. pg95... So those who were not there should take time to do it too :)

This week we compared the early church and our cell group.

Learning Points
- we are to hold each other accountable. what does that mean?
To hold answerable for, to be responsible for.
After discussion, we decided that it's about looking out for each other. We have expectations of each other ie: to seek after God, live a holy life. So if we see anyone not doing that, we have the responsibility to go tell the person in love.
And we can only do that if we know what is happening in each other's life. :) so prayer partners...

- To know what a holy life means and what God expects of us, we need to know the word.

- Q8. why did the early church community last?
They were small groups, easy to bond, and more effective when evengelising.

Things to Think about.

Do we want to bond and connect with each other?

what are we doing to work towards connecting with each other?

Do we have friends that hold us accountable?

** You all know that Jericho is going to be organizing the game week from the 5-9th of September. Go think about what Jericho means to you and whether you would want to support the cause of Jericho. We will try to arrange a day when we can all go down for about 2-3 hours? familiarise yourselves with the place and Bring your friends. :p we will talk more this friday but do think about it. :)
