Hey hey... We just finished the 4th chapter of the book? :P how time flies..
Okay, for those who have missed/forgotten totally the last 3 sessions.. Read onnnn.. :P

Points to take note :)

Second Week :
Galatians 5:16-25
Holy spirit is to guide, lead and empower you to live the Christian life.

Why do we do things that we do don't want to do?
Do we feel that life is like a battle ground?



- The sinful nature and the Spirit ' are constantly fighting each other, and your chices are never free from this conflict.' Galatians 5:17
- ' I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. ' Romans 7:15

HOW?
' Those who belong to Christ Jesus have nailed their passions and desires of their sinful nature to his cross and crucified them there. '


' But when the Holy Spirit controls our lives, he will produce this kind of fruit in us: love, joy,peace,patience,kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control.... '

Galatians 5: 22-24

we don't have to live according to the sinful nature because the law does not control our life anymore because of God's grace.

- praying continuously and reading God's word help.. trust me.. helps fight temptation..

Third Week.
Luke 10: 38-42

This passage doesn't teach that we shouldn't be responsible about our duties so that we can spend time with Jesus. But rather, we need to be discerning about choosing the right activity at the right time. We shouldn't get so caught up with daily responsibilities that we miss the timeswe ought to be sitting at Jesus' feet.

- talk quietly with God.
- Focus your thoughts on God's character.


Week 4.
Matthew 6:5-13
- Do not keep on babbling like pagans.
- But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

questions to think about :

Why should you pray for God's will to be done on earth if God is all- powerful and always in control.

If God knows what you need before you ask it, then why should you pray?

Activity
- try personalising the Lord's prayer :)

- praise God first
-acknowledge God's authority
- Ask for your needs
-Ask for forgiveness/ give forgiveness
-Ask for strength to resist the temptation..

- 'Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.'
